International conference CYSENI2024

20th International Conference of Young Scientists on Energy and Natural Sciences Issues (CYSENI) was held in Kaunas, Lithuania, from May 21 to 23, 2024. 

The International Conference of Young Scientists on Energy and Natural Sciences Issues (CYSENI) is an annual free-of-charge scientific event aimed at young researchers and professionals from Europe and worldwide working in the fields of energy and environmental sciences. Participation in CYSENI will provide a well-established platform for undergraduate, MSc and PhD students, postdocs, entrant engineers and other young scientists to present their latest research, develop their presentation skills, make new contacts and forge durable scientific relationships. Organizers: Lithuanian Energy Institute and Lithuanian Research Centre for Agriculture and Forestry.

This year in the conference were about 150 participants from 12 countries. Most of the LAMMC PhD students presented their research results in oral or poster presentations. Also were three key speakers were from the Lithuanian Research Centre for Agriculture and Forestry: Dr. Akvilė Viršilė, Dr. Birutė Frercks, and Dr. Vita Tilvikienė. Congratulations to the four LAMMC PhD students whose presentations or poster presentations were evaluated as one of the bests: Greta Striganavičiūtė, Martynas Urbutis, Emilis Armoška and Ahmed Hosney.
