UPSCALE project partners met at the University of Copenhagen

May 26, Dr Rita Armonienė, coordinator of the NordForsk-funded project “Upscaling crop performance monitoring by linking satellite and field biosignatures” (UPSCALE) at the Institute of Agriculture, participated in the meeting of project partners at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. The meeting was attended by the leaders of project partners and several project participants from Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Lithuania.

During the meeting, Prof. Thomas Roitch gave a lecture “Potential of the integration of cell physiological phenotyping via enzyme activity profiling in functional field phenomics”. Important issues of the work packages of the project were discussed, especially conducting of field experiments and collection of data and samples. Also, with prof. Kristian Thorup-Kristensen visited the root phenotyping infrastructure RadiMax and the construction site for the new root phenotyping infrastructure RootAccess.
