June 7, Dr Ieva Mockevičienė, senior researcher of the Vėžaičiai Branch, Institute of Agriculture, LAMMC, participated in a seminar in Malmö, Sweden, organised by Innovation Skåne, Gdańsk University of Technology and the Lithuanian Research Centre for Agriculture and Forestry.
To make future food production and underlaying systems fair, resilient, sustainable, healthy and environmentally friendly, innovation will be of utmost importance. Innovation is key to addressing the challenges facing our food system and creating a more sustainable and equitable food future. Additionally, innovation can help to create new markets and job opportunities.
