2007–2009 Master of Ecology and Environment Science, Faculty of Forest Sciences and Ecology, Lithuanian University of Agriculture (since 2019 Vytautas Magnus University Agriculture Academy).
1999–2004 Bachelor of Ecology and Environment Science, Faculty of Forest Sciences and Ecology, Lithuanian University of Agriculture. 
1989–1992 Landscaping and groundcare technician, Higher Forestry School (from 2002 Kaunas Forestry and Environmental Engineering College).

2014 Doctoral degree in Agricultural Sciences (Forestry), dissertation topic “Pedunculate (Quercus robur L.) and sessile oak (Q. petraea [Matt.] Liebl.) hybridization, regeneration and effects on soil microbiota”.

  • 2022–2026 LAMMC long-term research program “Sustainable Forestry and Global Changes”, objective 2, measure 4 “To identify the possibilities of selection, adaptation of forest tree populations and individual genotypes and use of innovative biotechnologies for the development of valuable genetic resources” and “To develop a methodology for genetic monitoring of key forest tree species, identify the current level of genetic diversity in these tree species, and carry out the first phase of genetic monitoring”.
  • 2020–2021 Decision support tool for increased forest productivity via efficient climate adjusted transfer of genetic gain.
